Service Learning - Talk by Mr Gomez and Mr Dudley

I hope you understand more about the Disabled People's Association after the talk. We will be helping out in the Flag Day on 20 Feb 2010 (Sat). Please report to Paya Lebar Kovan Community Centre at 10.45am. For those who wants to meet me at the Kovan MRT station, please meet at 10.30am

Service Learning

We will be helping the Disabled People's association to raise fund on the 20 Feb (Sat) by their flag day (11am to 4 pm). Please make yourself available for this activity or you have to make up by joining another CIP program. 4N1,4N2 and 4N3 will be involved in this activity.

The representative from the assoication will be giving a talk to the students on 18 Jan during our VE period in the learning hub on the need for the flag day to raise fund.

Principal's talk

The principal will talk to the class on 22 Jan 8.30 to 930 am

Major events for Semester 1

1. Registration for National Exam
GCE 'N' Level Examination – 8 Feb to 22 Feb

2. Common Test from Thu 11 Feb and Thu 18 Feb to Fri 26 Feb
Assessment in Term 1 will based on class tests conducted by the subject teachers as well as Common Tests. The schedule for the Common Tests will be issued to your child/ward duly.

3. Annual Road Run on Fri 5 Mar
This will be held at Punggol Park at 7.15am Students will be dismissed from school at around 11am. All parents are cordially invited to this event.

4. Issue of Progress Report
Progress report for Term 1 will be issued on Thu 11 Mar and students will return their report books to the form teacher the following day.

5. Talks by the Principal
The Principal would like to invite the parents of 4E/4N/5N students to attend a talk on post-secondary education at 5pm on Tue 9 Feb and the parents of Secondary Two students to a talk on the Sec 3 subject options at 5pm on Tue 20 Apr

6. 82nd Prize Presentation Day on 9 Apr
This will be held in the school. All parents are also cordially invited to this event.

7. Mid-Year Exam on Fri 30 Apr and from Tue 4 May to Fri 14 May

8. Sports Carnival Wed 26 May.

9. Meet-the-Parents Session on Thu 27 May There will be no lessons on that day. Teachers will meet parents from 8am at a pre-arranged time to discuss their child/ward's performance for the first semester.

EL oral exam

All candidates must report to the hall punctually. Candidates who are late will not be examined.
Candidates will be given 10 minutes for silent reading and studying the picture.
